| Hey guys,I just came back from GY camp at Cameron Highlands.I met new friends and some cool people too.ok so here it goes.
1st day,we reached there and settled down then we got into our group,my group was called ''teh-tarik republik'' and Zack Chin was my leader.We had this game called Guardian Angel & Mortals.I will explain it some other time.After,we had our lunch and some briefing about camp.We had games later on then goes the dinner and praise & worship,preaching by Ps Henry.After those preaching,we had our group meetings and supper then off to bed.
2nd day,at 6am we woke up,had our bathes,devotion,breakfast and praise & worship.We had workshops by Ps Henry,he shared about smoking and drinking that how it kills us,it was kinda boring to some of us,we almost fell asleep.Had lunch,free time,water baptism.There goes the fun part of the whole camp,HYDROWAR!!.First we broke into continents,colors are pink,green and yellow.We are in the yellow continent which are called ''the lala continent''.The hydrowar is GY camp's traditional game,every year no matter where,we will still have it.It was super cold and it was raining somemore and we still must have the hydrowar game.I'm not gonna blog the whole thing about hydrowar,you must come and experience it yourself.Had our bathes,dinner and praise & worship,preaching by Ps Henry,supper/fellowship,off to bed.It was Jon Rob's birthday,so after his bath,we shoot him with waterguns and Ps Henry prayed for him in the night service.
3rd day,same as 2nd day,goes workshops by Ps Henry about sex,pornography and abortion.They showed us some pics and clips about abortion made us almost vomited.some of us didnt dare to eat lunch after that,haha.We our rehearsal for skits and then goes the competition.After,we had our wash-ups,dinner,praise & worship and preaching by Ps Henry.Worship is the best,some of us fell to our knees to worship God.God's presences was really strong in there.I've never felt so great in my life before.Ps,leaders and teachers prayed for us and we fall back onto the ground,some of us are strongly touched by God and cried.too.We had curfews til 1am plus,which suppose to be 12am but since its the last day its accepted.
Last day,we had our wash-ups and packup,breakfast,praise & worship by a new girl band in GY camp which was really awesome,better than my band as I thought.Guardian Angels revealed themselves.Mine was Zack Chin,he gave me the 3 gifts,a packet of Twisties BBQ,strawberries which other people doesn't have and a pranking of blind-folded me and bringing me into the toilet and unblind me and start shooting waterguns at me with Jon Rob,Sam Lim,Zack Chin,Kendrick,Andrew Paul and some other which I forgotten,I hate it at first but its worth it guys.So the awards,wrap up and photo sessions.Before photo sessions,the leaders had another skit of their own,its called ''the executional of the criminal of GY camp 2007''.After we had our goodbyes and hugs,we are off to photo sessions and then into the bus.It was the best camp ever.it will be very memorable to me,I will go again next year.I would like to thank a few people.Firstly, my parents for paying my camp fees,Michelle Ooi and the Grace USJ,PJ and Klang friends for encouraging me to go.Mostly importantly I would like to thank God for all those things that He has done for me. One last thing,happy birthday to my brother,jon roberts.I hope you continue to grow in Christ more and more,talents in music and much more.God Bless you all!! :) | | |
| Hey people, how are you guys? It has been 3 months I haven't post, let me see what have I been through the passed months? On September, I went to Bali for a week.My school had a youth rally and it was a sucessful event.Also went to Paradise concert at Grace Klang, hmmm....my cute little Sister Soph came back from Melbourne,its been months haven't seen her, miss her much, went to school, gave her a big cuddly hug . My band had our 3rd gig at EMC. Had a BBQ party on Thursday, some of my dad's friends from Indonesia came and my school mates came too,had a great time. In November, I'm going for Malaysia's Annual Guitar Camp 2007 and also Penang Jazz Fest on the 29th Nov-2nd Dec.That's all for my post,will post more often. God Bless you all ,Take care. | | |
| Hey guys,its been so long I haven't written any post.Anyway these few months,I'm happy and fine.I got a new phone,Dopod 838 .Finally,a new electric guitar,Ltd M-50 and Kustom 16watts amp and another new electric guitar,Epiphone Alleykat ,its really nice.and new effects too,Benhringer V-Amp Pro 2 ,sounds nice and cool,having all types of reverbs.I'm happy with my new gadgets.I've learned a new guitar skill,that is called air tapping,let me tell you what is that,it is playing guitar in like a piano position,it real cool.I'm taking my guitar exam next wednesday and hoping to pass,best is getting an A,not hoping to fail,at least get a B or C.Pray for me,thanks.Willupdated more often,"after"my guitar exam.God Bless | | |
